Sorry to hear that anon. I am glad to hear you are doing better. They are helpful for my ADD. Instead of being slumpy dumpy all day, my mind and overall awareness are much better and I actually attribute it to my need to learn and search and whatnot. I have always had problems with reading comprehension and focus but was most definitely not hyper. I think this is what the drug was originally meant for before they started pushing them on ADHD.
