All of you who are melting down because the full Senate is talking about not voting today or tomorrow need to think about the implications of railroading this through. If you stand up and say the right thing to do is follow the procedure but then adapt to the fact that a unreasonable opponent makes a request that appears logically valid, you regain the upper hand.
MN needs to vote out Amy Klobuchar, but for a state that at its core sees it self as a bastion of logic and civility, her appeal to get all the facts in a reasonable amount of time gives her cover when she votes no. For as far left as she is, she always gives the impression of balance and fare mindedness. If she gets her way, and she still votes no, everyone who she has been telling that she is fair and balanced, will see that she was playing the game all along and her actions are what they always have been, pushing left at all costs. MN almost voted red in 2016, the closest it has been in over 50 years. The SJW push in MN is relentless right now. People who see that their love of just treatment has been twisted against them in favor of any and every minority population will vote what they can not say. Their beloved centrist is being exposed for what she always has been, a leftest political tool.
A game is being played but if you win the battle and loose the public's confidence that you played fairly (rightly or wrongly), you have already lost the war (unless you are playing a zero sum game, in which case most of us are already dead). Let the plan play out, let them adapt as needed, with out public support, this is all for naught anyway.
