The vote at the end, the vote relating to the Kavanaugh nomination, was on the motion to proceed to the nomination as a matter of senate business. That's the only Kavanaugh-related vote taken, and only Kavanaugh-related matter dealt with.

The cloture motion will be filed early next week.

Procedural minutia - not to worry, the nomination is moving ahead. Very few in the press (if any) will report the procedural minutia correctly.

Senate procedure on contentious nominees has roughly three steps.

  1. vote/agree to take it up

  2. cloture/filibuster busting

  3. vote on the nominee

Step 1 is done. McConnell did that before closing the Senate for the weekend.

Step 2 has an "a" part, filing a cloture motion, and a "b" part, agree/vote to limit debate. 2a will almost certainly happen on Monday. Step 2b will be negotiated behind closed doors. Timing of taking this vote depends on when McConnel thinks he has 51 AYE votes, and this is tied to FBI progress, etc.
