It was where the switch flipped to me on autognyphilia, leading to 20 years of cross dressing, trans leanings, and a lot of pain unfucking my head. Ironically before I ever heard of MK- and its spinoffs.
I've basically broken the links in my head to that. Wife anchored me well, so i have worked through it. And I don't feel latent traumas, so I think it was just primings from that movie.
But what I am wondering is has that movie been specifically tied to trans/viewing-self-as-opposite-gender?

Chromosomes are XY though. It just feels like I've had a unfinished female persona fighting me for 20 years, and my brain just snapped that persona's starting point the Beauty and the Beast. Clearly. For no apparent reason.
