What a day anons.
Shared space on an airplane with a dude from California who was despondent because "that guy" just made it to the Supreme Court.
Anons, I was flying first class.
I gently explained that Kavanaugh had made it out of a committee vote.
It was a remarkably amusing committee vote.
Yet alas. Just a committee.
Dude shut me out for the flight.
I was gracious and let him out of his window seat to take a whiz.
Landed in second location to have spousanon glued to the screen.
Had to remind spousanon that yes, I'm the one with a polisci degree,
and no, that Trump ordered anything (according to a number of newspaper sources) matters not at all.
There's this thing called separation of powers in our constitution.
It is, in the end, a Senate vote.
I am constantly reminded that the constitution is the same whether or not I studied it in college.
WTF is wrong with all these people (spouseanon included) that they can't recall such high-school basics?
Whatever happens from here to Kavanaugh's confirmation matters not at all…
Except I'm convinced this is why beer is still brewed.
Shadilay, anons.
Stay the course.
We are almost there.
