Q already addressed this. Regardless of what social media companies have said via MSM, their doesn't work as well as the NSA's does, and that's IF it works at all. Those MSM articles were scare tactics to try & discourage EXACTLY what we're doing now,flooding the feeds. They depend on posts being reported by users for review. Don't let them fool you.

I use hashtags VERY sparingly. has less reach with single posts, yet staying relatively under the radar.
Make a thread using hashtags sparingly, the reach is better. In replies of accounts w/ many followers, meme w/o hastags, the reach is best. you're right about that one
