Blackmail wasn't on the list of shady things to do. I don't think any HIPAA violations occurred. Not on my watch at least. We obfuscated PII and encrypted the databases at rest.

It's just misleading. Bewbs are posted at a rate per minute.
Bewb/min
Nite shift has fewer posts so it just seems like there are more bewbs.
I think a lot of this depends on how the networks are configured. I'm pretty confident it came from inside one of their offices. What if it is wifi they are using and someone used a phone? I dunno.
I agree. This wasn't a clearinghouse per se. It was a company and they no longer have the volume they once did. I offered to go to congress and speak or help with questioning in regards to the Equifax breech. I was ignored for the most part which was expected, but thought I should offer.
You would be shocked at what happens to your medical, credit card, etc. records. They often end up at little start ups with their buddies. The IT folks and people in general have no idea how to do things. They just have an idea and a lot of venture capital. You see, these other companies become 'partners' and you signed off on it.
Was contracting/consulting for a company once and they sent me a spreadsheet with credit card numbers and everything else I needed to use them to my private email. They knew nothing about me. I deleted the email and let them know that I was involved with another project. Shit out there is frightening.
For the most part, most datafags like myself are not this stupid and protective of info. It's everyone else in a company that doesn't seem to care.
Was that FAFSA entered electronically?
