I saw another Kavanaugh theory earlier that his connections to the Bushes and swamp ties may make some think he is DS.
In pondering this, I think a more likely scenario is that further investigation of BK may reveal that he was coerced into doing things for the black hats.
This would explain why Bush said he should be confirmed. They don't want people looking into his history any more than necessary.
Extra FBI investigation could reveal these facts as well as vet BK as worthy of confirmation.
