Most women I know don’t believe her either. I have never been sexually abused but I was physically abused when I was 19-20. For almost 2 years. By a boyfriend. And I remember every detail even though it’s been 25 years. I don’t have to wonder and guess about what happened. It’s clear as day. I’ve also forgiven and moved on and even thought he was an awful person then and a drunk who knows how he may have changed for the better by now.
Exactly. You did the right thing by alerting law enforcement. My ex inherited a farm. Go figure. And even though we don’t live far from one another I honestly NEVER see him. I know it’s God protecting me.
