I watched the Judicial Committee hearing vote again for the second time and what Flake and Grassley did had to have been on purpose. It was so slick and crafty, it was incredible. Flake seems to have known full well he was pushing a plan here, because he paid lipservice to that stuff about FBI investigation but then straight up said yes to a plain old yes recommendation to exit the committee without actual amendments or stipulations. HE MUST HAVE KNOWN HE WAS DOING THAT. The dems were so confused, omfg especially Feinstein. Watching it again a few days later is hilarious. When Grassley was looking around for quorum before the vote he had a really crafty cheeky look to him, was hilarious and the two hour rule call made his staffer almost bust out laughing. It definitely all seems contrived, especially now that a few days have passed and we know that there is all kinds rumors of investigations now into these allegations and accusers.
