Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump Deliver Remarks at the Al Smith Dinner CSPAN October 21, 2016 12:19am-1:10am EDT
"this is about him worried that he is losing. which means he really doesn't have what it takes to hold this job.
there is a lot of time in this job where things do not go your way. when you suggest – i made this point before. this is more
than the usual , standard life. – standard lie. when you are used to just rigging or fraud without a shred of evidence, when last
night at the debate donald trump becomes the first major party nominee and american history to
suggest that he will not concede, despite losing the vote and then says today, that he will accept
the results if he wins, that is not a joking matter. i want
everybody to pay attention. that is dangerous. when you try to sow the seeds of doubt in people's minds
about the legitimacy of our election, that undermines our democracy. you are doing the work of our adversaries for them. our democracy depends
on people knowing that there is so matters – knowing that their vote matters. to occupy the seats of power were chosen by the people. even when your preferred
candidate loses, when you are the one who is running and you lose, you have to be the bigger – you have got to see the bigger picture and say that here in america we
believe in democracy, and we accept the will of the people."
