Except she didn't make her claim to her therapist to give her an excuse for this. She made it to give her cover for the claim she intended to make against Brett Kavanaugh in 2012 when/if Romney won that election and tried to send him to SCOTUS. He was already on Romney's short list and that came out in the news the month before her phony claim to the therapist.
