I wore contact lens from the 8th grade on.

8th grade was the 1973-74 school year.

They were blue, they were hard as HELL to get used to, but I'd have stuck a sharp stick in my eye rather than wear damn glasses.

So annoying, seeing all these otherwise good looking girls wearing those damn Mr. Peabody glasses.

And now they could get lasik instead! There is NO excuse for wearing glasses.
