I am surprised all of the debate over meaning of Red October. I thought Red October was clearly established since March (see pic). Q linked to the anon who posted about the Red October Steel Mill in Stalingrad.
The story is about a small group of fighters (Russians) that had nothing left to fight with but old broken tanks and munitions, but drove back the Fascists who thought they were invincible. They held the Red October steel mill and didn't allow the Germans to go any further. By doing so, they turned the direction of the Battle of Stalingrad and ultimately the Fascists hold on Russia.
WE are part of that small band of soldiers, with no real weapons other than memes and autistic intelligence, YET we will hold off the dirty Fascists who think they are entitled to our land. Ultimately, we will save the republic because we hold this hill. History books will speak about it as they do the steel mill in Stalingrad. It was the turning point in the war.
We are in the Red October Steel Mill. We are fighting for our lives and the life of the Republic. We must do everything we can to destroy Fascism that is going room to room, machine to machine, searching out patriots to eliminate.
THAT is RED OCTOBER. Prepare for a fight. Prepare to hold the line. Prepare to BE the frontline.
