Please go read these comments. Brown vetoed a California bill that required institutions provide free abortion pills. He said, "No." And the newcomers here are having a meltdown.
You are right. It is just that his word is considered as important as hers, if not more so. Because we do not want to see a person penalized for something that he may not have done. Before a jury, Kavanaugh would be given the benefit of the doubt.
