origin of "the bible" is pretty well known: roman emperor wanted to create state religion. hired some scribes who were descendants of josephus (high priest of Jerusalem) to design it for him. they tossed a bunch of old shit together, some of value, some just garbage, and added in some highlights specific to the culture they were designing it for. wallah: fake religion for slaves who worship idols instead of real god. truth.
