Kavanaugh has two little girls. As a daughter whose father was also publicly and falsely accused, I cried for them too. Their relationship will forever be affected by this.

Thank you for your service to our nation that has obviously hardened you. My apologies for being so abrasive but this whole situation hits close to home for me in a multitude of ways. And what my family went through with the false accusations against my father was beyond devistating to my family. My heart hurts for him and even more so for his wife and daughters. I had just graduated high school when this happened to us. These girls will have to carry this with them and deal with it through middle school and high school.

I think I am going to write a letter to his daughters. At least let them know they’re not alone and someone else (albeit on a national, but much smaller and far less publicized scale) has been through the same thing they are and to always remind themselves that THEY know who their father is. They know him far better than anyone else making commentary on the subject and always will. It’s hard for me to not get emotional just thinking about the heartache they are experiencing right now. I would have been a wreck if I had been in Kav’s seat.

I can certainly understand a small part of it. Having the media show up at your house. Shoving cameras in your face at your doorstep. Calling your house so much you have to unhook all the phones. Spreading false accusations with zero follow up on the story. Name tarnished forever.
