It's become so ridiculous and incredible that now they have to make up some reason to try to show that the accusing women were not making it up, rather they were just confused, or some such horseshit.
They must be losing reasonable women in droves and any woman who has actually suffered an assault must be outraged that they are not beyond making a mockery of this issue in order to score political points.
