LeCarre' (David John Moore Cornwell) and Graham Greene are the only true spy genre novelists. While this Movie was well done, the BBC miniseries of "Smiley's People" and "Tinker Tailor" with Alec Guinness are the best.
These are thought to be high energy particles which completely pass through the Earth from Space and through both Poles. Scientists are baffled (duh) that these particles make it completely through the Earth without hitting any other particles. Is anything truly solid? I remember it being said that that the Universe is relatively more solid than the human body.
