Free them. By codifying the 13th in the constitution it burns slavery into our legislation. Which allows the dems to point to it as a way of mental slavery. "Vote for us or the other side will abolish the 13th" its not as explicit as that, but essentially that is the mindset they drive into the black community. It's like assuming blacks need the amendment to not become slaves. It's thinking passed the sale.
Kanye is saying hold up, we dont need a specific amendment in the constitution to keep us from slavery, we can break those chains ourselves. Keeping it codified is a mental reminder that we no longer need, since we can't be thought controlled.
