I think that there is a group of pubs and dems who have been neutralized and are just playing out the string and will play act in DJT's interest, as promised, when their arms are twisted.
Schumer, because he's a NYC kid and probably goes way back with DJT, or at least they speak the same language, may have also signed off and told DJT he'd deliver what DJT wanted, too. That was the bathroom incident, maybe.
If so, that's not the group that's the problem, rather it's a renegade group that Schumer is having trouble controlling. I'd guess Booker, Harris, Blumentahl, etc. This would be that group of 10 or so dems who didn't vote with the other dems and pubs on some important bipartisan bill at the beginning of this DJT term, can't remember the exact bill. Warren was one in that group, as well.
This group is what I think is causing the problems, for example, leaking the CBF stuff, and DJT is getting tired of watching his actors screw it up.
