From colleague Peter Doocy. He confirms that GOP WV Rep Evan Jenkins resigned from the House last night to serve on the WV Supreme Court. Jenkins was not running for re-election & lost GOP WV Senate primary to Patrick Morrisey

Rep. Evan Jenkins, R-W.Va., said Thursday he would resign from his House seat on Sunday.
West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice in August appointed Jenkins to a vacant seat on the state Supreme Court of Appeals.
Jenkins lost a primary for the GOP Senate nomination in May.

Schumer: As someone who voted against NAFTA and opposed it for many years, I knew it needed fixing. The president deserves praise for taking large steps to improve it. However, any final agreement must be judged on how it benefits and protects middle-class families

Schumer on new trade deal: 2 areas where I particularly want to see the details are dairy, where our dairy farmers are being taken advantage of..& real enforcement of labor provisions. Labor provisions are good, but too often they are written into trade bills and never enforced
