I see Ford a bit different than most here. Of course everything was a lie but some key takeaways after endlessly watching her mannerisms - she was terrified. But her fear was not that of the made up story and the committee but that of someone particular or a group. First off her entire Q/A and statement was based on prewritten responses and I am certain she was wearing an ear piece given her mannerisms during questions which deviated from what they expected, on seven occasions, she reached for her right ear but not to scratch it or adjust her hair but to push into her ear which is a common sign of ear piece listening by untrained individuals.
Further, she continuously looked not to her attorneys during needs for answers but to someone on the committee. Impossible to know who given the angles but her eyes and even head constantly shifted to the same exact position every… single… time.
A person who is explaining an issue or giving a speech will always spread their view to assure the listeners all can absorb the information. This is a natural tendency that all people have. You do it, I do it, we all do it when giving statements meant for a group. It's innate. However, in this case, she focused on one position of the Senate very often as if wanting approval or as if giving back a predesigned statement to your boss at work, your parent when young who is asking you something, etc.
On the point of parents, she came off as a child on many levels. Wee have exhausted the body language but I am taking it further by stating that her behaviors were literally that of a child trying to make sure they do not get in trouble with Mom and Dad.
All this said, I actually believe Ford is a victim here. Not by Kavanaugh of course but consider what we have seen these people do, in PUBLIC, and how far they are willing to go. Now consider what they may do when nobody is looking and the threats. Just look at the DiFi picture looming over another Senator. That is the stance of someone who is very used to controlling others and with her Chinese backing, no wonder, as the Chinese would undoubtedly hit people for her to assure their control. Even on American soil. So I think Ford is in trouble here. Sorry to say it and I hate to say it because, god fucking damnit, she fucking lied and tried to destroy this man. However, we here are about facts and looking at the entire picture and if we are to be what we say we are then we must consider the potential that this woman is a victim in this too. I don't think the POTUS' statements about her and her courage were done to satisfy the radicals but I think the POTUS has intel showing what I brought up as being factual, he knows what they have done to her and he wants to make sure she is secure despite her lies based on threats. Just my two cents.
