If time is linear, Anon, then aren't we all "time travelling" all the time? You might entertain the idea that it's circular, or spiral shaped, or a Klein bottle, or whatever. But it's a real dimension or dimensions that we appear to have to contend with…it's like saying "There is no 'vertical'".
