Now here is where it gets interesting. The Senate building, I assume (in fact I am positive) is shielded from outer communications coming into the building. This prevents hacking during sessions. So how was she able to have a link setup to someone advising, she would have needed a communication data transfer device which acted as a middle point from her ear to the outside while being connected to the worldwide web.
Alyssa Milano's phone. It was allowed in the building when no phones are thus allowed in. It was live feeding on Twitter which shows it was directly connected to the net. The phone would easily serve as a tool to set up the earpiece as a would be bluetooth which directly fed into Milano's phone and, from her phone, directly fed into the person advising in her ear.
Makes sense on many levels and I am surprised nobody has considered it yet given the oddity of Milano's phone in chambers.

It makes sense. Milano's phone connected ala bluetooth. This way nobody would question DiFi/the DNC and if she was picked up she could have feigned ignorance and that she merely followed DiFi down into chamber. It was all a setup.
The mere fact she had the ability to livestream speaks volumes. They found a way around it. Here is where it gets very interesting anon. Very few pieces of equipment have the ability to override communication breaks on shielded buildings. They are rare and few know how they work. The only public place those pieces of equipment exist are observatories. Well look at this:
