Perhaps, given some time and the freedom to innovate more freely, many of the world's injuries can heal in ways we never believed possible.

Grew up wanting to be a firefighter - then a fighter jock (F-14)... Then fell in love with electronics/engineering in general. It took a bit of reflection on my old friends from back then to realize that the 'war' I was itching to fight was a reaction. All I really wanted from the beginning was to keep people safe and to build/discover more.

The anger and aggression grew out of what I realized was threatening those goals, and those I care about. I am eternally grateful that Q and team were in place to save more people than would have been possible if it came to the kind of war I foresaw.
