And, shortly after that video was released there was a rash of gun store robberies in Minnesota iirc which is, totally not coincidentally, where commies were talking about travelling to for training and near where that BAMN subversive group is headquartered.

Im not concerned about the ability of leftists to wage a civil war. They would be defeated fairly easily. Problem is they would most likely take up insurgent tactics and, if history is any indication, leftists favor terrorism against civilians. When the bolsheviks marched on Berlin they raped any woman or child and horribly tortured to death any man caught in their path. This is designed to break the will of the civilian population. If you see that happening to your neighbors you are going to be less likely to risk attracting their attention to your family.

But, really, in a civil war scenario I'd be more worried about Mexico and parts south thereof. They already have loyal military aged men in our gates.

you should be at least rudimentarily prepared for such a thing at all times. How simple would it be for the power to go out for a prolonged period? Even in the best case scenario the government would be able to set up a couple areas with enough power to run a refrigerated warehouse. But, for most food would go bad/be depleted within a week. After just a couple of days people will start getting a bit crazy. And once food starts getting scarce there will be violence. Thats the best case scenario assuming that everyone would be on their best behavior until things got bad. In reality there would be riots and looting immediately, food stores would be depleted of their stock within a day. Violence would be almost instantaneous. And there is a good chance that many of the police desert to protect their families, which would cause a cascade of further desertions. And the military only has enough soldiers to occupy select areas and would have to devote a significant amount of them to the borders
