SCOTUS justices do not have to recuse if they don't want, and there is no judicial authority above them that could move the case to a different court. Only recourse is impeachment.

 

As Justice Roberts wrote in his 2011 Year End report on the Federal Judiciary:

 

โ€ฆThe Code of Conduct, by its express terms, applies only to lower federal court judges. That reflects a fundamental difference between the Supreme Court and the other federal courts.
