Hmmm… maybe she is involved in the "muh resistance"? Need help to pass a polygraph? Pretty sure thats disqualifying right there, may even be a federal crime. Someone has accused her of it, she denies. What happens?

Ifind it odd that this article from 20 Sept 2017 is on Drudge. If they are an aggregator of news sources, why is this posted today on their website? WHy is it relevant today? Just found it weird.

The piece has been installed in a Methodist Church and will be open to the public until December 2.

An Oscar Wilde Temple has opened its doors in New York City.

The statue and shrine were installed to celebrate the Irish legend and to pay homage to the writer who was imprisoned and shamed for his sexuality.

The project is made by David McDermott & Peter McGough and is supposed to depict his two-year imprisonment.

The makers describe the project as a ritualistic space that will be open through December 2 and be available to rent for gatherings both sacred (the aforementioned wedding, poetry readings, a planned discussion of queer theology) and profane (the temple’s curator, Alison Gingeras, jokingly suggested a séance to honor Wilde’s death day, November 30).

Oscar Wilde Temple is available for ceremonies, such as weddings or poetry readings and is decorated with the Reading Gaol paintings. These paintings depict the writer's trial as stations of the cross in a Christian church that portrays Jesus's journey to the Hill of Calvary.

“There's a reason that Catholic iconography keeps popping up in LGBT art: It's become powerful through centuries of use, and it partakes, even if obliquely, of the rich Catholic theology of suffering,” Dan Walden, a graduate student at the University of Michigan and a gay Catholic, told Vox.

“I think people from more liturgical backgrounds do miss and need ritual.” He added that despite the growing presence of progressive or pro-LGBTQ Catholic parishes, such a thing should not be taken as a given

All proceeds made for the Oscar Wilde Temple will go to the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Community Center across the street from the church who worked with the two artists on the project.

The temple will relocate to London after the date and will be open to visitors.

Symbolism all over the place on this one.
