In fact, Christine Blasey is a biostatistician,
I.e she is a mathematics professor who happens to teach stats
To psychology grad students.
Psy D is a Consortium program between Palo Alto U and Stanford which teaches Psychology graduate students in an intensive program of 3 years of course work. No thesis, no research, just 3 years of courses.
Faculty are listed in Stanford's systems because it is a Consortium program taking students from both Universities. But this particular Math professor is on the Palo Alto U faculty, not Stanford.
