In a previous bread somebody said:
>No. Asking questions or simply needing proof to accept >certain things is normal. But here, it gets you verbally attacked.
>True open minds should want truth from all sides. Not one.
There is a flaw in this thinking. When you ask someone to prove it, to provide you with unassailable proof of an assertion
You are, in fact, saying to them:
I will accept your authority if you give me proof that I like
But that goes against everything we are doing here. We do not want to set up new authorities. We want to promote EVERYONE doing their own research and their own digging.
Yes, some people provide good proof of things. People on this board often share important facts or important sources of facts and proofs. But this is all done in the collegial spirit of helping each other with their own research. We can never know what you ALREADY KNOW and what you need to learn. That is YOU JOB.
We are here to share and if you are looking for a new authority then we take great pleasure in laughing at you and insulting you because we know that these acts are the best way to break down pompousness, and your own pompousness and self-importance are your greatest barriers to learning.
We want to throw mud at you to encourage you get get down here in the mud and join us in digging. It's GLORIOUS fun down here in the ashes and rubble of the pyramid.
