Activision just rehashes the same old shit, making a killing off of map packs and an outdated formula.

Battlefield 1 and now 5 attempted to rewrite history for the digital generation.

It goes on and on and on.

When I look at the trends, its just like Hollywood and the movie industry.

When the whole scene erupted with deathmatches and now the battle royale craze, I see that as they are telling us what was going to happen in the future and we are, in a sense, simulating our own demise and fight amongst each other for basic needs.

In The Elder Scrolls 4 they were closing Oblivion Gates (cern portals) and fighting an ancient deity.

In Fallout, china nuked us on Oct 31.

In Uncharted he is a treasure hunter like tomb Raider in lost cities with fucking esoteric backdrops and enemies.

Deus Ex was the future they wanted for us and put real life truths into the story.

GTA 5 is literally California without rocket launchers.

There are connections in every fucking game if you know how to see it.

Everything.

Im not gonna lie, its one of my personal favorites.

Anything with an open world to play around in plus the physics and unscripted wtf moments.

There really isnt anything else like it.

But its fucking vile filth very outlandishly reflective of today's state of things.

I do agree with some of this and Atlantis for sure plays a big part but Its late fren and Im tired, but I have my own ideas and theories of when this all started and how we got here and although I dont want to get into it right now, it respectfully differs from yours.
