Translation. FBI controls the media.

Goes all the way back to the original Diablo game. Scroll of town portal. That's where the design comes from.

Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

Or sometimes a cigar is a thinly-veiled allusion to kiddy diddling.

I have no idea.

Can't kill it. The gaming industry only exists due to a lack of creative outlet in real life. That's what the industry was made to curtail. If you break it, gamers will riot. Not out of anger (though there will be plenty of that) but out of sheer frustration over having no way to release tension.

Before electricity, young men would build things. Now they simulate building things.

The industry can't fall yet - not until we are free to build in real life.

Totally agree. Don't think that I'm bashing gaming in any way. I wouldn't do that.

But they are. They are trying to transform it from within. They think that they can get in under the skin and propagandize us through our creative outlets. It can't work because they don't even understand what drives young men to play games in the first place.

Remove the creative outlet and you loose your audience. No one will stick around for shit games.

Problem is, these companies are being backed by dark money. They use it to gobble up the competition so no good games will be made at all. They control the means of spreading the word about independent games - so nothing will ever emerge into the mainstream so long as they don't control it.

The entire system is rigged to make sure this happens. Gamers become developers with dreams of being able to make a living doing what they love. Can't do that unless you sell your soul to the beast - at which point it becomes corrupted.

The whole thing is going to eat itself.
