Honest question: What happens if 51 Senators don't show up for the votes?
I can see this being the next Dem play.
Don't they have to have at least 51 to have a quorum and hold a vote?
To even allow the vote to take place, you have to have a quorum.
For SC nominations, it's 51 to even be able to hold the vote.
If Dems don't show, and get one Repub to not show, can't even hold the vote.
Delay.
That's what I'm trying to find the answer too.
I'll keep digging.
I can see the Dems using this as the next delay tactic.
