Paris Expresses Solidarity With Allies Allegedly Affected by Cyberattacks

Paris has expressed solidarity with its allies and international organizations affected by cyberattacks, which were allegedly committed by the Russian intelligence, the French Foreign Ministry said on Thursday in a statement.

Earlier in the day, the authorities of the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and the United States accused the Russian intelligence services of staging alleged cyberattacks against different international organizations, including the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), anti-doping agencies and sports federations. However, no evidence was given to support these allegations. Dutch Defense Minister Ank Bijleveld, in particular said that four Russian citizens had been expelled from the Netherlands in April on suspicion of an attempted cyberattack on the OPCW, noting that the suspects had diplomatic passports.

"The announced facts are serious and concerning… France expresses full solidarity with its allies and international organizations that have become targets of such attacks," the statement said.

According to the ministry, the international law must be respected in cyberspace to the same extent as it is applied in other fields.

The Dutch accusations have prompted immediate reaction of the Western community, including NATO. UK Prime Minister Theresa May and her Dutch counterpart Mark Rutte said in a joint statement on Thursday that the cyberattacks allegedly committed by the Russian military intelligence service showed disregard for global values and rules.

NATO, in particular, expressed solidarity with Amsterdam in its accusations and urged Moscow to change its behavior.

The Russian Foreign Ministry said that the anti-Russian "spymania campaign" unleashed in the Netherlands seriously harms bilateral relations with Russia. The ministry added that Moscow has not and will not launch such attacks, as it has no reason to do so.

Democrat Leader Pelosi Compares Judge Kavanaugh to Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un

Nancy Pelosi spoke at an Anti-Kavanaugh protest in Washington DC on Wednesday.

Pelosi condemned Republicans for their treatment of Judge Kavanaugh accuser Christine Ford. Ford accused Kavanaugh of groping her 36 years ago at an unknown place and time. The only alleged witnesses all refuted the claim even her good friend of several years who has NEVER been at ANY party with Brett Kavanaugh.

Democrats want to destroy Judge Kavanaugh over these baseless accusations.

Nancy Pelosi compared Judge Kavanaugh to Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un.

Nancy Pelosi: The only person who doesn’t have to be vetted is the president. And it is pretty clear that he could not withstand a vetting. And he talks about being in love with Kim Jong Un and thinking Kavanaugh is a great guy, upstanding this or that. I guess there’s a similarity that people have with people they respect – Crazy about Putin! In love with Kim Jong Un! Thinks Kavanaugh is a great upstanding person.

Iranian FM Zarif to Saudi Arabia: Trump ‘Humiliates’ You, But We Extend Our Hand

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said Iran is willing to cooperate with Saudi Arabia in order to build a strong Middle East after US President Donald Trump said the Saudi king wouldn’t stay in power for two weeks without US support.

Zarif called Trump’s words about the importance of the US support for Saudi “humiliating” in a Thursday Twitter post and said that national security cannot be outsourced. “We again extend our hand to our neighbors: let's build a ‘strong region’, and stop this conceit,” Zarif tweeted.

Zarif’s comment came after the US president said during a rally in Southaven, Mississippi, that Saudi Arabia’s King Salman wouldn’t stay in power “for two weeks” without the US and that the kingdom needs to shell out more for US protection.

“We protect Saudi Arabia … And I love the king, King Salman. But I said, ‘King, we’re protecting you. You might not be there for two weeks without us; you have to pay for your military,’” Trump said to his supporters, reported Reuters. The US president didn’t specify when exactly he said this to the Saudi king.

“I said, king, you have got trillions of dollars. Without us, who knows what’s going to happen? […] With us they are totally safe. But we don’t get what we should be getting,” he added, cited by PressTV.

Trump’s remarks about Saudi Arabia, the world’s top oil exporter and one of the leading OPEC countries, followed his criticism of OPEC member states in his speech at the United Nations General Assembly in New York in September. The US president blamed OPEC for high oil prices.

"We defend many of these nations for nothing, and then they take advantage of us by giving us high oil prices. Not good. We want them to stop raising prices; we want them to start lowering prices," Trump said.

Top FBI Official-Comey Confidante Met with DNC Lawyer who Leaked to Media

DNC attorney Michael Sussmann was leaking unverified information to the media around the time he met with former FBI General Counsel James Baker

Lawmakers say the meeting is yet another indicator that the Trump-Russia investigation was a partisan move

Former FBI General Counsel James Baker met with the Democratic party’s top lawyer, Michael Sussmann, to discuss the ongoing investigation by the bureau into the Trump campaign’s alleged ties with Russia. This meeting happened prior to the FBI’s initial warrant to spy on short-term campaign volunteer Carter Page, sources close to the investigation have told SaraACarter.com. Moreover, information provided by Baker, who gave extensive testimony Wednesday to lawmakers behind closed doors, coincides with the House Intelligence Committee’s final Russia report that suggests Sussmann was also leaking unverified information on the Trump campaign to journalists around the same time he met with Baker, according to the report and sources close the investigation.

These sources say this new information from Baker exposes the bureau’s failure to inform the secretive Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC) that the evidence used to spy on Page was partisan and unverified. It further reveals the extensive role and close connection Sussmann, a cybersecurity and national security lawyer with Perkins Coie, had with the now-embattled research firm, Fusion GPS. The Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clinton Campaign retained Fusion GPS through Perkins Coie during the 2016 election to investigate alleged ties between the Trump campaign and Russia. Fusion GPS then hired former British spy, Christopher Steele, who compiled the unverified dossier during the summer and fall of 2016. In 2017, this reporter first published that Baker was purportedly under a Department of Justice criminal investigation for allegedly leaking classified national security information to the media. At the time, the bureau would not comment on Baker and would not confirm or deny any investigation. Baker, who resigned from the bureau in May, was the FBI’s top counsel and a close advisor to former Director James Comey.

In 2016, the Clinton campaign and the DNC paid $9.1 million to the law firm, according to reports. Sussmann, however, is also connected to CrowdStrike. CrowdStrike is the private cybersecurity that was retained by Perkins Coie for the DNC to investigate the breach of its server after it was discovered that it had been hacked in April 2016. Although the FBI has conducted its own investigation into the breach of the server the Democratic National Committee never gave the FBI permission to access the server itself.

“These parallels between the law firm and CrowdStrike also need to be investigated,” said a former FBI official familiar with the security firm. “All of these connections aren’t coincidences and it smells to high heaven.”

According to lawmakers, he explained in detail how the Russia probe was handled by bureau officials in an “abnormal way” and detailed his meeting with Sussmann. Fox News first reported Baker’s testimony quoting Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) who said, “some of the things that were shared were explosive in nature.” Meadows, who attended the deposition of Baker, told SaraACarter.com he would not elaborate on the specifics of the interview, but said, “Mr. Baker’s testimony provided a number of new facts that needed further exploration.” Meadows expects more information in the future and follow-up interviews.

Baker was forthcoming about what he knew and what took place during the investigation, multiple sources said. The information regarding the meeting between Baker and Sussmann would indicate that the FBI was more than likely aware that the law firm was hired by the DNC to investigate alleged connections between the Trump campaign and Russia, but withheld that information from the secret FISC when it sought the warrant to spy on short-term campaign volunteer Page in October.

There’s no way the FBI could have not known it was Perkins Coie being paid by the DNC and Clinton campaign

More than 50 arrested in drug ring bust

PHILADELPHIA – Three top members of a well-known Philadelphia drug trafficking organization are facing 689 charges after a collaborative enforcement effort dismantled the heroin, fentanyl and cocaine ring, the city's top prosecutor announced Thursday.

District Attorney Larry Krasner said 57 people have been arrested from the Alameda drug organization that targeted the Kensington neighborhood, the epicenter of Philadelphia's opioid epidemic. The arrests began in July with a series of raids and include 35 suspects currently in custody ranging from street dealers to people who controlled the enterprise, Krasner said. There have been warrants issued for 22 others.

The investigation centered around 16 properties at a well-known intersection in the hard-hit neighborhood. There were more than 300 medical calls to the four-block area between July 2017 and July 2018 — 75 percent of which were for overdoses.

The drug trafficking organization brought in more than $5 million in drug revenue a year "from the pain and misery that comes from drug and opioid addiction," Krasner said.

He said the arrests are a direct result of his emphasis of going after the "big fish" and not minor drug offenders.

Councilwoman Maria D. Quiñones Sánchez, whose district includes Kensington, called the arrests a "stunning success" by law enforcement.

"We work constantly to relieve our residents and neighborhoods of the stress, fear and violence brought on and worsened by the opioid crisis," she said at a press conference.

In an effort to combat skyrocketing overdose rates, Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney and other city officials announced in January they would support a private entity operating and funding safe injection sites. Philadelphia has the highest opioid death rate of any large U.S. city, with more than 1,200 fatal overdoses in 2017.

Former Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell joined the effort to open Philadelphia's, and possibly the nation's, first supervised drug injection site, a place where people can use drugs under medical supervision and get overdose prevention.

The 74-year-old Rendell said Wednesday he has joined the board of the nonprofit Safehouse, which is raising money to open a safe injection site despite federal and state laws that prohibit them.

The Tyranny Of "The Collective" By The Illusions Of Narratives

We know that no one ever seizes power with the intention of relinquishing it. Power is not a means; it is an end."

– George Orwell, “1984”, part 3, chapter 3,

Tyranny:

1 : oppressive power especially : oppressive power exerted by government

4 : an oppressive, harsh, or unjust act : a tyrannical act

It is a fact the election of Donald Trump exposed certain undeniable realities in the United States for those willing to see. Perhaps first and foremost of the various revelations is the bona fide existence of The Collective. Also known as the Uniparty or The Establishment, The Collective is comprised of the following: The Democratic Party, Republican’s in Name Only (RINOs), Neo-conservatives (Neocons), the Mainstream Media, the Corporatocracy, globalists, elite bankers and unelected government bureaucrats and officials; also often referred to as The Deep State or Military Industrial Complex.

All of these entities have attained singularity through the decades while, for the most part, retaining some “plausible deniability” of their collusive connectivity prior to the 2016 Presidential Election. But now the veil has been lifted. As The Collective has unified in polar opposition against everything Trump, so has its immorality and lawlessness been additionally exposed; like nude streetwalkers performing dirty tricks in broad daylight on busy corners.

Over the past half century, if not before, The Collective has politicized, and weaponized, everything it could subvert. From the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to the courts, from professional football to late night comedy, from Hollywood to advertising, from social media to education, from race to gender, to sex. Especially sex; and in ways seemingly derived from the nightmares of George Orwell and Aldous Huxley.

Paradoxically, however, it is more often the values of conservatives onlythat are called into account. The Collective will string up blacks like Clarence Thomas via high-tech lynchings and bully free-thinking Afro-Americans like Kanye West, Candace Owens, and Stacy Dash by labeling them “Uncle Toms”. The Collective will pass judgement on conservative Supreme Court nominees with no evidence beyond slander and innuendo. In fact, it is The Collective desiring One World Under Them, which wields Orwellian Newspeak terminology such as racist, misogynist, homophobic, xenophobe, and Islamophobia, like the proverbial pitchforks and torches.

The Collective sows the politics of personal destruction in order to reap the whirlwinds of division. It shills rancor and broken dreams in order to form a new reality in its own image. A world where timeless moral principles are set aside for (they claim) the good of all.

Notwithstanding, The Collective’s new religion is as phony as Michael Avenatti’s concern for clients.

Now social media companies have purged “thought criminals” on their respective platforms, even as the rogue special counsel investigator, Robert Mueller, has exploited imaginary crimes in order to conceal actual government corruption and, likely, treason. The Collective preaches the tolerance of transgender men in the bathrooms of our daughters and wives while actively bullying and defaming those they consider as dissidents. Falsehoods from contrived, and illegal, government “leaks” are published and broadcast as being true while real facts are slandered as “fake news”.

A public that can no longer distinguish between truth and fiction is left to interpret reality through illusion. Random facts or obscure bits of data and trivia are used either to bolster illusion and give it credibility, or discarded if they interfere with the message…

When opinions cannot be distinguished from facts, when there is no universal standard to determine truth in law, in science, in scholarship, or in reporting the events of the day, when the most valued skill is the ability to entertain, the world becomes a place where lies become true, where people can believe what they want to believe. This is the real danger of pseudo-events and pseudo-events are far more pernicious than stereotypes. They do not explain reality, as stereotypes attempt to, but replace reality. Pseudo-events redefine reality by the parameters set by their creators. These creators, who make massive profits selling illusions, have a vested interest in maintaining the power structures they control.
