Do you have sauce for that callsign assignment scheme?
Having flowing mil a/c I am not aware of any master naming scheme "plan" to encompass "all" aircraft that take to the sky. They are created on a local level and often reflect a squadron moniker and a 3 digit plane number. When operating around the carrier the a/c numbers were 3 digits from 1-8 depending on the type of a/c. attack started with 5. Fighter 1 and 2. etc. When flying stateside we could deviate from carrier based ops naming.
