A long while back an anon on half/pol/ said something about the components to make superconductors were being shipped to Antarctica, that it was connected to CERN. He surmised that a much larger scale collider was being constructed there but no matter how hard I dug, I never found any sauce or shipping manifests, nor did he provide sauce for the claim. Only reason I looked into it at all was because I was already compiling data on the continent and it's ins-and-outs.
