Did anyone else notice how Ford's glasses seemed to only be for reading? She would use them to look at things close up but look over them to look at the senators when they were speaking.
As someone with readers, I am familiar with looking over them when viewing things farther away so I don't have to keep messing with my glasses. What struck me as odd is the size of her glasses, IF they are readers. I have never seen a set of readers as large as the pair Ford was wearing. I can't think of any practical reason for a set of readers to have frames that large. Is there some eye condition that I'm not aware of that could cause a person to use their glasses in the way that she did?
My theory is that she wore overly large, out of date, glasses in an attempt to appear meek, weak and vulnerable. Does anyone have any recent'ish photos of her wearing that specific pair of glasses?
