I received some credible information from people in the know that Chicago is prepping for riots. Not just Kavanaugh but the Laqquan McDonald / Jason Van Dyke trial should deliver a verdict today.

All officers from all departments (local, state) have been put on call and are not allowed time off until further notice. Please be safe if you're in the area.

Yes. I should have added if you are in the area try to stay inside a secure building.

The presence is heavy where I am. I've made a point to let each officer know they are in my prayers today because their tension is palpable and they've really appreciated that.
