So , seems Schumer feels dems will get crushed if Kav is voted down. I don't think Manchin voting yes and having Kav voted out would help Manchin, because he'd just become a whipping boy for the WV voter backlash.
Might be Murkowski or Collins is voting no and Manchin is the equalizer.
Still think Schumer is fighting a rogue group in his own party (Harris,Booker), and has a deal with POTUS.
