I've thought of this too and someone mentioned that in certain kinds of material (like a dashboard for instance) there is a gas that will leak out when it is heated, newer cars will get a film on the windshield. I wonder if the mask she was wearing or some kind of latex has that same gas and was fogging up her glasses.
skeptical maybe, look all the dirt we dig up here and don't run to the FBI with it.
