hopeful anecdotal story:

family members invited me over for coffee this morning

conversations with them during the week revealed they believed kavanaugh guilty of rape based on the "news"

so when I arrived this morning, they had nbc on and it was showing kavanaugh protestors

I asked them to turn it off and said kavanaugh did not rape anybody and that nbc is a brainwashing operation

they turned off nbc and told me they did not think kavanaugh was guilty and wanted him on the Supreme Court

they were even somewhat apologetic
