Q didn't actually tell us that Murkowski was threatened, as per usual it was formed as a question. Some facts about Senator Murkowski:

-She originally entered office as an appointee of her father Frank Murkowski who decided to cut his senate term 2 years short in order to run for Governor.

-In 2010 she lost the primaries to a tea party candidate who's motto was "compromise is destroying the nation" and she still somehow managed to win the overall vote.

-She is PROCHOICE

-She is PRO TAX

-She is anti-Conservation

-Mitch McConnell has said she does NOT have the support of the GOP or Republican Party.

-She is the Chair of the Energy and Natural Resource Committee (major influence in DC)

IF Murkowski was in fact threatened or bullied, it didnt take much. Her history instead points to the fact that she was more than likely complicit.

Murkowski has an agreement with Daines - it doesnt matter if he is there or not. She plans to say "present" during the vote taking in order to cancel her vote to counteract the absentee Daines. If he's there, she will vote no. Either way, it doesnt matter. His yes vote, and her no vote will cancel each other. The vote margin remains the same regardless.
