Just watched the pence video - some notes
A bit spoopy. We knew that China was a serious adversary. Pence makes the case that they are much more serious than the american public understands. This speech was almost a prelude to a hot war decleration.
Which means we are in essentially a cold war with China. He talked extensively about them stealing our technology, having influence over our institutions, academia, and media organizations. We essentially helped revuild China, and then traitors in our own government helped them undermine all of them. We would have been destroyed had they successfully changed the petrodollar to the petroyuan.
After VP Pence essentially made the case for a cold war, bordering on becoming hot. He extends an olive branch, offers peace based on mutual respect.
Biggest things came at the end.
"Stay the Course"
"Have faith in President Trump, that he will put america first" (paraphrase)
Essentially, Mike Pence is saying to trust the plan. Kinda got a chuckle out of it.
