Not disagreeing with you entirely, Fren. :)

At the same time, there can be no comparison between China and the US beyond "Both nations have normal people doing what they believe is right".

And you HAVE to look at all of China - the control of the gov't is intense. It will crush anyone who questions it, unless they receive official permission to question it (seriously. They will crush you). And how can even the outer-most provinces not be effected in that environment?

I'm not trying to say the people of China are bad - am just saying that there is a MASSIVE difference between the two nations' way of thinking and they can't be compared.

I don't recall saying anything about a financial storm, Anon. DID say that a few paragraphs from a much larger document is not very useful. When this was posted previously, I went to the "source", which was a Chinese social media site, which did not provide any way to access the full document.

If I'm going to take a thing seriously, seeing it in context is really important.
