And long may it be so. US citizens have a significant advantage over we, in the UK. You can hold your government to account using srmed rebellion if it is necessary. We can't. Most people in the UK fail to appreciate that the primary purpose of gun ownership is for holding to account a traitporous government that betrays it's people. It's not about self defence, or protecting one's home, not primarily, at least. It's about having the capacity to depose rogue governments.
