DC looked pretty normal today. Tourists, museum lines were long. People were living there lives.

Front of the Capitol was empty, just regular folks.

The lunatics were all gathered between the back of the Capitol and the Supreme Court steps. You saw a few people wandering to and from the rally. Q is right. Fewer than you think.

I did a few laps of the building in my car while the vote took place, I reflected on all of it. US. It was a proud moment, and I wanted to be there the day the Republic took back control.

I happen to live in the swamp, so I have a perspective most of us can't see.

I was driving down Contitution Ave towards the Capitol and kept wondering when I was going to see a protester. Nothing. I was right up on the Capitol and still nobody. It wasn't until I neared Senate park and New Jersey ave that I started seeing people. Only saw one person holding a sign at traffic, everyone else was in the rally center.

This was literally during the actual vote.
