Sometimes you have to go to war with the troops you have.

 

This war has been sans shock and awe…so far. Who knows what deals have been made or who might get rolled up in the end. It's probably too early to make judgements.

Hopefully, with our new trade deal with Mexico, we can control the manufacturing process on parts and consumer products flowing into the US, regardless who owns the companies.

 

I would hazard a guess that China is not the only country putting spyware in electronics.

Absolutely. But one can not forget about the resources which are currently controlled by major corporations putting Obama in the history books and common core in the classrooms.

 

It's like a battleship, it takes a little time to turn it around.

Why do we care what China does in their schools? Is that the hill to die on with them? I can certainly trade with them if that is the only concern.

 

Also, younger Chinese, at least the ones I know, are excited about their individual freedoms that their parents/grandparents did not enjoy.

 

They are probably right to not want "open civil society" since that is the leftist code word for global socialism. I don't want it either.
