Born and raised in Seattle and yeah, it reminds me of Frisco any more. MS and Amazon are the worst things to happen to this state. A lot of leftist techies from Silicon Valley moved up. They made Cali uninhabitable and now they're Californacating our state. I live on one of the islands and wouldn't go to any of the larger cities on the mainland unless I was heavily armed. I still feel safer here in WA because I know the people, the terrain, and have connections in the local gov't so I know I won't be fucked with. Tweakers and pedo's don't last around here very long since we're a "DIY" kind of people. Really hoping to clean up this state.
There are still places on the left coast that are still great places to live but you have to look for them and know someone who lives there so you can find a place that isn't run by crooks. I used to visit friends in Portland and San Francisco and they were still beautiful and blue collar guy could by a home and raise a family. Those days are over, at least until we can drive out the vermin and get honest people running them. I'm happy here though and there's a sense of community that's disappeared from the cities.
