Bookmark the catalog page, and always look for the image and the latest bread number. This is bread #4281, next one will be 4282. Easy peasy. Also bookmark the link you were given for the index, which is useful if the catalog goes down.
As for the jargon, Urban Dictionary is useful for a lot of it, but lurking and figuring out some of it just by the context is how this "normie" did it. I lurked for months before I felt confident enough for my first post.
